Eight service lines, one geospatial partner
Every flight is planned and formally authorised before take off, then processed in house into deliverables your engineers can work from.

ExploreAsk a question about your site. Get the answer.
Every Droneshutters survey can come with a private portal where you type a question in ordinary words and receive a direct answer about your own land, site or crop. No maps to read, no software to install, no specialist required.
- Is anything loose or missing on the upper section of this tower?
- What is the volume of the stockpile in the north yard today?
- Has the wetland edge moved since the last survey, and by how much?
- Which part of my field is stressed, and was the fertiliser applied there?
Your client sees the asset, not just a report
Most survey work ends as a PDF in an inbox. Asset View is our browser based deliverable portal: open a link and inspect the structure or corridor itself, turn it, measure it, and click straight through to the findings.
- 360 degree inspection panoramas with defect hotspots
- Orthomosaic maps with measurement and layer control
- LiDAR point clouds and 3D structure models
- A filterable defect register with severity ratings

LiDAR corridor survey
Our survey aircraft carry survey grade laser scanners that measure the ground through vegetation, where photogrammetry only sees canopy. That makes LiDAR the right tool for transmission corridors, road alignments, forestry and floodplain modelling.
We fly long transmission corridors through mountainous, densely vegetated terrain, capturing classified point clouds, conductor geometry and vegetation encroachment for engineering design.
See the LiDAR serviceAviation discipline, engineering output
- Authorised and planned. Every mission is formally planned and permitted before take off, with site risk assessment as standard. How drone permits work in Rwanda.
- Survey grade method. RTK and PPK positioning, independently surveyed ground control and check points, with accuracy verified and stated in the report.
- Processing in house. Flight operations, photogrammetric and point cloud processing and post production under one roof.
- Deliverables you can use. LAS, GeoTIFF, DXF and SHP, in your coordinate reference system, with a walkthrough for your technical team.

Every flight ends in a geospatial data product
A photograph is a picture of a place. A geospatial data product is a measured, dated, coordinate referenced output that you can put into a design, a claim or a decision. That is what leaves our office.
-
Mapping
Orthomosaic, digital surface and terrain models, contours and volumes, in your coordinate reference system with the ground sampling distance and accuracy stated.
-
Agriculture
Vegetation index rasters and zone maps from calibrated multispectral capture, read by an agronomist and issued with a written recommendation.
-
LiDAR
Classified point clouds, bare earth terrain models and corridor profiles, delivered as LAS with the classification scheme documented.
-
Inspection
Condition records tied to the structure and the date, with each finding located, rated for severity and traceable back to the frame it came from.
