Droneshutters operates a professional survey and cinematography fleet that is renewed as the technology advances. We select the platform and sensor for the site, the accuracy specification and the deliverable, rather than fitting every job to one aircraft.
Survey aircraft
Industrial multirotor and long endurance platforms with RTK positioning, capable of extended flight time, corridor and block missions, terrain following flight and operation in the wind, rain and altitude conditions common in Rwandan highland terrain.
LiDAR payloads
Survey grade aerial LiDAR sensors with integrated inertial navigation, multiple returns per pulse and dense point acquisition. Used for bare earth terrain modelling under vegetation, corridor profiling, volumetrics and structural capture.
Imaging payloads
High resolution mapping cameras for photogrammetry and orthomosaic production, long range zoom sensors for detailed asset inspection, thermal sensors for energy and environmental work, and multispectral sensors for crop and vegetation analysis.
Agricultural aircraft
Heavy lift spraying and spreading platforms with terrain following radar, obstacle avoidance, liquid and granular payload systems, and swath control for uniform application.
Cinema aircraft
Compact and professional cinema platforms recording in high bitrate formats and log colour profiles for broadcast and commercial delivery.
Positioning and control
GNSS base stations and network RTK, PPK post processing, and independently surveyed ground control points and check points; accuracy is verified against check points on every project and stated in the survey report.
Processing and delivery
Industry standard photogrammetry, point cloud classification and GIS software, with deliverables issued in the client's required coordinate reference system and file formats.
Post production
Editing, colour grading and finishing for video deliverables, colour managed stills processing, and audio repair for location sound.
Our fleet and sensor line up is upgraded regularly. The specification for your project is confirmed in writing in the technical proposal before mobilisation.
