Overlapping imagery, controlled on the ground
The aircraft flies a planned grid with high forward and side overlap. Every point on the ground is seen from many angles, which lets the processing software reconstruct position in three dimensions.
Accuracy comes from control. We place ground control points across the block and hold back independent check points to verify the result, then report the residuals rather than a brochure figure.

Standard outputs
| Deliverable | Format | Typical use |
|---|---|---|
| Orthomosaic map | GeoTIFF | Measurable, georeferenced base map |
| Digital surface model | GeoTIFF | Everything the camera sees |
| Digital terrain model | GeoTIFF | Bare earth on open ground |
| Contour lines | DXF or SHP | Site design and planning |
| 3D textured model | OBJ or glTF | Visualisation and coordination |
| Volumetric report | PDF and CSV | Cut, fill and stockpile quantities |
Measured, stated, and checked against the ground
These are the verified figures from a recent survey block of ours, published exactly as the processing report gave them. Ask any surveyor to show you theirs before you award the work; most cannot.
-
Detail finer than 2 cm
A single pixel of our imagery covers less than two centimetres of ground, so a kerb, a crack or a peg is resolved rather than guessed at. Most aerial mapping is delivered at five to ten times coarser than this.
Measured: 1.88 cm ground sampling distance
-
Not one frame discarded
Every photograph taken on the flight was successfully placed in the model. When frames fail to calibrate, holes and distortions appear in the output and are rarely mentioned in the handover.
Measured: 53 of 53 images calibrated, 100 percent
-
Seen from every side
Every point on the ground appears in five or more photographs taken from different positions. That redundancy is what removes lean from vertical faces and holds the geometry true across the whole block.
Measured: 5 or more overlapping images per pixel
-
Thousands of ties per frame
Each photograph is locked to its neighbours through thousands of matched points, not a handful. The more ties, the less the block can drift as it is solved.
Measured: 5,902 keypoints and 2,085 matches per image, median
-
The camera held its calibration
The lens model barely moved between the starting values and the solved ones, which tells you the optics behaved and the solution is not compensating for a drifting camera.
Measured: 0.22 percent difference, well inside tolerance
-
Independently checked
Control and check points are surveyed on the ground with RTK and PPK positioning, and the achieved accuracy is stated in your report. You receive the number, not a promise.
Stated on every deliverable
Ask your survey a question instead of opening it
Every survey we deliver can come with a private portal. You type a question in ordinary words, such as the volume of a stockpile today, and the answer comes back in numbers and plain sentences. No software, no specialist, no waiting.
